“First half: Looneyz receive. Nobbla blitzes to get a quick KO on a BOB. Goblins miss the pickup turn 1, but the ball is deep enough that it doesn't matter. The orcs pressure backfield and force the goblins to set up a tight cage. Several turns ensue, while a few goblins are KO'd and Nobbla gets badly hurt. The ball-carrier makes a break for it, but trips over a BOB and is seriously injured, dropping the ball. The orcs pick up the ball, but fail to convert. Tied score 0-0.

Second half: Candles receive. They create a tight cage on the flank, with extra cover to intercept the bombardier. They find a hole down the middle, and throw 6 orcs through. The bombardier fumbles his throw and BHs himself, allowing the cage to move forward unchallenged. With a number advantage and the trolls being a bit stupid, the remaining 6 players kept the gobbos from making mad dashes. A few muffed short handoffs to a BOB later, the orcs score. Candles up 1-0.

Turn 8/8: Looneyz receive. Kickoff is riot, and the goblins get an extra turn. Their last re-roll is used on picking up the ball, but everything goes smoothly until the troll throws one space too short. Final: Candles 1-0 Looneyz”
