“Great game that sadly saw the death or injury of three gutter runners. I even brought an extra apo, but used it on a BH in first turn on a blitzer.

After the first two turns I was feeling great ... I had taken out a black orc, linemen and a blitzer and had only lost my blitzer that had been apoed ... this was going to be easy ...But then it was the orc turn and the skaven starting to be blocked from the field in even greater numbers. The orcs got the ball loose but the skaven got the ball back but had to score fast, giving the orcs the chance to score in the first half (and taking more skaven out).

Second half started 9 vs 9 and with a bit back and forth the last remaining gutter runner was able to get the ball loose and take the catch the loose ball.

He survived the following blitz and with a few 1d blocks and two heads dodges he was able to run clear and score giving the orcs 2 turns to score the equaliser.

In the end the game hung on a 4+ pass from the thrower, but it was missed ... I was lucky and with the amount of hurt the orcs brought I would have been glad for a draw.
