“This was a rotten dicing, from about turn 3 onward. So many double-skulls for the dwarves... I very rarely feel sorry for Dwarf teams, but this is an exception!

In the first drive, the lizards made some very effective blocks and demolished the Dwarf defense. A hand-off was made to a saurus on turn 2 (I expected that to take longer!), and given the choice to either stall 5 turns or score, we chose the latter.

The Lizards we again gifted by Nuffle–-with a Blitz! and a short kick, and were able to secure the ball yet again. This time the Lizards also brought their hitting gloves, and several dwarves were taken out in a sequence of freakish blocks. Again, a speedy hand-off was made to a saurus, and they scored again on turn 8.

Turn 8, the Dwarves were forced to field their Bomber. After a sequence of fruitless blocks, Boomer at last managed to get a bomb in the vicinity of all 3 saurus defenders... only to miss them all.

Second half started out with the Krox dancing back and forth with the entire Dwarf LOS, and a couple stuns on some saurus. But by this time, the Lizards superior numbers were taking their toll, and they were able to get a hit on the ball, hand to a saurus, and skill another superstar.

Coach Corn played a good match, but the dice were insatiable.
