Hanson's Roughriders won the toss and opted to receive, proceeding to attempt to use their high Strength and Guard to tie up the humans. This did not go so well. Following up on their devastating first turn couple turns, the Blitzkrieg Brigade proceeded to absolutely demolish the Roughriders in the first half, Badly Hurting every skink, the Krox (who was Apo'd) and knocking out 2 saurus. We did manage to paste one Blitzer, and force the use of the Wizard to ensure the score, but it looked very bleak, and the Humans successfully stalled until Turn 8,

5 skilled saurus and 1 Krox were the defenders in second half, against the humans' full squad. However, lucky lizard hits wore down their numbers, slowly but surely. The humans, sensing the urgency of their score, opted to make a long-pass to a waiting Blitzer, but missed the throw, which gave the saurus a chance to cover the ball. One saurus, in a moment of ambition, went to attempt a pick-up, but the ball bounced back into the hands of a human lineman. The lizards were about the throw in the towel and just go into a blood-rage, but the linemen failed his 8/9 dodge toward the endzone. Again, the saurus went for the ball, failed, rerolled... and nabbed it! The humans tried to mark him as best they could, and a very dodgey blitzer almost foiled everything, but the lizards were so angry by now that team captian Wolfgang Hanson just killed an ogre outright, and ran the ball down the field.

Opposing coach cdassak was a complete gentleman, despite this being the second time that his rightful win against me was thwarted by terrible dice.
