#16 Mighty Horn – Smashed Knee (NI)
We remembered the Rats as they were our first opponent . We managed to play 1-1 against them back then. Knowing that we have problem with playing against fast teams that just run through our lines we accepted the challenge.

In the first drive we engaged the rats in a fierce melee slightly to the right while moving up the ball carrier on the left side. Mark our surprise when we noticed the rats to rather fight our players instead of trying to stop our ball carrier. A solid touchdown was made.
Then the rats had their shot, they attempted to smash their way through our right defensive wing but ran into some resistance. Chargin Terror made an impressive start when he ran his horn through one rat and cournered another close to the sideline. The rats now took a big risk when they tried to run for a quick touchdown. Chargin terror once more made a brilliant appearance and put the ball carrier into the ground. The ball was loose and one Pass and one handover later we had turned the game to a 2-0 lead.

In the second half the rats ran through our lines and there was nothing we could do but to congratulate them to a fine touchdown. In our second drive our ball carrier was swarmed by small pesky gutter runners and Charging Terror had to make no more then two brilliant apperances where he knocked over a gutterrunner who had managed to steal the ball. Eventually Charging Terror got some backup and could place the ball in the endzone.

It was very good game that unfortunately had Mighty Horn take a lethal blow that our apothecary managed to heal. Shortly after Mighty Horn tried to repay his assailant but something went terribly wrong and he pinched a nerve and fell to ground in agony.
