Oh man, did they hurry. First Buliwyf gets KO'd by a thrown rock on the opening kickoff. Then Purplechest couldn't get off the field fast enough, getting taken out before he even got set and stealing the MVP, that git. These admins are more worthless on the field than they are behind the scenes (a joke, I actually think they do a good job off the field)! At least for my team they have been. The induced Merc wasn't far behind PC. Clawpomb was tearing my team apart, as 4 of the 7 CAS were RIPs and KOs were raining down on us all game. The first apothecary turned a RIP into a BH and so Ragnar got to play on. I declined apothecary priveleges to both Ulf's, saving it for a player I considered more vital. That happened to be Edgtho the Silent. Sadly, the apothecary was silent too and so another warrior was carted off the field of imbalance and injustice.

I stupidly allowed WhatBall to Sidestep forward into scoring range when I could have just done nothing and he would have been stuck. In hindsight, that cost me the victory but I thought for certain I would be able to score again in the 2nd half after a miraculous turnover score in the first half. That turnover by Weath the Musician was the only thing that went right for me until the very end of the game when Skeld the Superstitous pulled off a similar play.

So 2 good turns and 14 really crappy ones sprinkled in around them. I'll take the tie gladly, but I think I'm done playing Clawpomb for a while. It's just too easy for a mediocre team to destroy a team one has invested so much time in on just normal rolls. Not to say that Zeke73 is a mediocre coach, but he didn't have to do anything brilliant this game. I had to depend on a lot of luck with the ballhandling rolls and 2 Dauntless blitzes. Without those 2 very lucky turns for me, this game would probably have been a 3-0 slaughter.”
