#10 Bear – Damaged Back (NI)
UI X Bright Lantern, qualifier finals:
We really elfed it this game. Murker'd DP hit hard and fast, assisted by 2 bribes, niggling (apo RIP) my blodge guard ss blitzer on his first foul. A silly oversight led him to blitz with 1 die, which Nuffle appreciated, and awarded with skull rr skull. After that, I got into an easier position, and Murker chose to bash/gangfoul every turn rather pressure my stall. After my turn 8 score and his turn 8 bash, I still had 8 elves left to play around with. I kicked shallow and got a blitz! but couldn't quite get the ball to safety. He popped it, but left it within my AG5 thrower's reach. As a result, I could make the 2-0 rolling a lot of 3s (this involved a pass where safe throw saved me from an intercept: yeey).
The Murker scored, and then got a blitz! of his own, this time with his 11 humans against only 6 elves. Luckily he had chosen to kick deep, and his 2die on my thrower failed, as did the reroll, and it looked like I might pull off a stall. But turn 16, I couldn't shake off the diving tackler, and had to back into a corner, where he blitzed the ballcarrier. The ball fell on my thrower, who failed his 3+ catch roll, and then he picked it up on a 4+ for the 2-2. Fortunately, my MA9 catcher decided to wake up at this point, and he walked in the 3-2 OTTD with relative ease.

Wow, congratz on the 1000!

#6 Conny McCrackin – Smashed Knee (NI)
THIS was my 1000th match on FUMBBL! So many mistakes..
.
.
.
It was a fun game, due to the successful fouls giving me a chance, but I feel I proved the Tits aren't ready for the big time yet, as the coach made 3 critical errors to blow his very real shot at a win.

The mistaken 1d block turn 3. (Weak on my part)
The 2d Tackle Block on the ball turn 14 I just didn't see. (mega weak)

and the fact that if I had just spaced out my LoS with the SF and SS guys 1 square either side of my Rookie, with just 7 elves you would have had almost no shot at a 1TT. (by my calculations) Weak enough again that you well deserved the 31% OTT that you got.

The fancy elvish moves that just about prevented my last score were well pretty epic and deserving of a victory. GL next round.
