“despite the huge casualty count (add 1 more from the crowd), the 1st half was relatively bloodless. But the Artists went wild in the 2nd half. Unfortunately for the elves, both deaths were Witchelves..

1st half, The elves scored about mid-half. They only had 1 player out (bh), though I had 2 Casualties, as the Apothecary saved Hugo Sanchez from death (I may be wrong, but I think it was him). I had enough time to power in for the TD before halftime, thanks in LARGE part to a failed dodge early in turn 7 that allowed me to break away from the pack to safety to score on turn 8.

2nd half, the casualties began to mount. But even with only a few players (5) the elves did what elves do and got the ball away from me and 'punted' down field. I was able to cover it relatively well, but a blitz on the corner knocked the ball out into just one Beastman's TZ. An elf came over, picked it up and tried passing to Xabi, who was in the TZ of my frenzy CW, White. White intercepted the ball, then proceeded to push Xabi out of bounds, where the Crowd killed him! From there, I had 4 turns or so to get the ball from one end of the pitch to the other, which I managed to do, despite one failed pass. By the time I scored on turn 8, there were only 2 elves on the pitch.

Only Big Brush gets a skill, so he picks up claw. Yeah, yeah--but I did start this team to do what it seemed like everyone else was doing with chaos teams :) This was probably (I haven't checked) my highest casualty count game for this team--usually they don't perform like Chaos teams do to my other teams.
