“This was an end to end match with the Plebeians trying our best to match the Eldar for scoring pace. The offences were fast but the defences were not too impressive. There needed to be a significant mistake from either side to lose this but it never happened.
We were down 2 players quickly after Leonar cas'd and ko'd two linos. That looked bad but after they scored we got the ball to Heinrik after a side switch to score the equalizer. Also a linelf was kindly given a broken jaw. The Elves had a one turn chance but a perfect defense re-setup foiled them.
Second half we were still a player down after Ludewicus again remained sleeping. Jesiah passed the ball to Wilhelmus but two Elves surrounded him. He was blitzed free, dodged out and just managed to stumble over the endzone line to score our 2nd.
The Elves stalled out their next drive a while but we still had time left and finally with ko recoveries had the player advantage. Wilhelmus again was given the ball but the main Elf blitzer dodged through and frenziedly attacked him. Fortunately he dodged the onslaught and got the 3rd TD. The Elves came back with the last gap equalizer though it needed a pass over our line and nerves of steel for the catcher to grab it before getting away to score. Good game!”
