After their good run in the LC, the Lords jumped to the pitch full of confidence. It was such that the 4 initial thralls blocked were "only" stunned, which gave Lords some buffer space.
The Lords defended strongly in the first drive keeping the Players from scoring in the first half. At turn 6, they blitzed the DElf BCarrier resulting in KO and some pressure to the ball. In turn 7, they were able to pick the ball and send a pass to the Vamp in scoring range. Unluckily, some snakes allowed for an "easy" blitz on the vamp and the half ended 0-0.
Vamps scored quickly in the second half, but with 2 KOed vamps, the defence was desperate and finally, they gave up defending to keep numbers. A random skulled block burnt rrs to the Players lefting only 1 for the OT.
The toss was won by the Lords and they chose to receive. A quick move to one side line with plenty of vamps was followed by massive pacters blocking the way. But the open space in the other side of the field allowed for the MA8 vamp to rush forward with enough screen to prevent a direct blitz.
The countermanouvre did not close the gap and, with some luck, the vamp rushed forward for the final score, becoming legend in the process.
Thanks to Cyrus by the enjoyable game and sportmanship.
