  1. Pre-season "friendly" builder for Rush & Pass League

AV 7 was not feeling strong today, nor did the WElfs get much love from the rest of the dice. Frogs handed out 3 BH's, on Turns 2, 7 & 10, and a snaked Dodge took out the lone rookie Wardancer T5. KO's on top of those meant the WElfs were shorthanded the entire game, and felt it (even before another failed dodge MNG'd a lino T16).

Padfinger chose to kick, but Diving Tackle (or forgetting about it) stopped the 2-turn score and the Frogs elf-balled the ball to the 2 yard line. A 3+, 2+ dodge w/ double-GFI blitz found a Pow, and the Welfs started the ball back. It was knocked loose midfield Turn 5, then recovered again, then a 6+ Interception started the defensive score over again T6. The handoff was bobbled at the 2, and double-marked by WElfs, but despite no RR Ag 4 came thru for the T7 defensive score.

(Turn 8 both Coaches forgot "no blocking if no score possible" - but no new injuries, penalties cancel each other.)

2nd half the frogs fell back to a deep kick, and Turn 2 failed a pass for a skill behind a loose screen, and the nearest 4 (of 6) WElfs were able to threaten the loose ball. A cage kept the ball safe for a Turn, but the pressure stopped the skill-pass, and a handoff to a Catcher spelled an uncontested Turn 6 score, 2-0.

Final drive, a mis-position by Padfinger allowed a pass and handoff, but Diving Tackle threatened and double-skulls on the blitz ended the game.

3 skills for the Sycamores, 2 for Padfinger, 2 60k paydays and no perms - win/win!

#8 Erulaeriel – Smashed Hand (MNG)
Well, coach Hayati blames himself for this loss due to his inattention to the Diving Tackle skill. It was his wrong choice of Blitz or Dodge that prevented an opening Sycamores touchdown and started the rout. From that point onwards, a melee evolved, and of course this was not good for the lightly armored Elves. As a result, they were shorthanded and lacking for options the whole game long.

Well done pal- next game we resolve to do better!
