“A sad day for the Brills as Woods was beaten to death by the home fans. He will be missed and a candle lit in his basement next to the multi gym. A fine 16th turn touchdown gave the Beach Boys a victory from the jaws of a mundane tie. Spikes came off the bench and notched up 3 casualties. Clearly the rest had done him good, cleared his minatory head and the results speak for themselves. He did spend a lot of the second half on his back BUT at least he was back in the game. Baby steps. The Brills now have a bye week to have a good, long, hard look at themselves. ”
