“The Dark Mutants chose to receive and advanced quickly, but two double skulls in one turn heavily interfered with their offense. While Wolverine initially survived both a blitz by Steve and a chainsaw attack, he got finally tackled. While Steve was running away, Groucho II did not miss the chance to screw up, leaving Steve open for a blitz that knocked him out and allowed the Chaos team to recover the ball. At this point, all but two CTGF members had been knocked out or killed, and the Mutants barely managed to score.
In the remaining turn, the kick was too deep for a 1TTD attempt. To make things worse, the second half started with a Blitz action, tying up the complete team. Luckily, the ball went into the crowd. Steve got the touchback, and off he went. Just to fail a dodge two turns later, after a cocky crowdsurf, breaking his jaw. With only a handful of players left on the pitch, the Mutants could not be stopped from scoring once more.
