Joe took exception to a mummy hurting one of his mates and smacked the other mummy off the pitch - it regenerated. After two more zombies departed - a sending off and a kayo - the elves pressured an early TD and equalised before half time.
The undead had no bench and were soon a couple of players down in the 2nd half, whilst the high elves kept switching the play from flank to flank. A ghoul briefly got the ball loose but the elves then consolidated in the corner and held off for the winner. An elf was killed in the process but it made no difference.
Tough break for Hicl with the early heavy elf hitting whilst the Affable Elves seemed to be made of tough stuff - for now, at least.”
