“British Irish Lions won the coin toss and chose to receive. They sent receivers up both sides of the field. Sudden Victory went to cover them but there was too many. A Blitzer received the ball and ran it up to the redzone. Elbereth came with the save and knocked him down. He picked up the ball and ran it to the right side of the field. His teammates were dropping like flies and he knew he had to make things happen himself. He sped up the right side of the field and handed the ball off to Resolute. The Catcher would score to end the first half.

SV received in the second half but they were down by three players. Elbereth was thrown the ball and he went up the right side of the field. BIL blocked the path with multiple receivers and the Ogre came from behind. The Black Prince was closed off from going forward so he went back to reset the offense. He slipped past the Ogre and handed the ball back to Resolute. Resolute ran back deep into his own territory. Meanwhile, Elbereth was taken down by a gang of Humans and neutralized. Only Journeymen were left to score and Resolute attempted a short pass that he fumbled. BIL would steal the ball and run it in midway through the second, to tie the game.

SV received for the last time and a pitch invasion stunned their Quarterback. Elbereth had to return to pick up the ball. An angry Ogre rushed straight at him but the Black Prince evaded the Big Guy. He dodged away and ran up the right side of the field. He found Amaranth in single coverage and threw it to his fellow Blitzer. Amaranth caught the ball and dodged past his man and into the endzone to put his team up by one with two turns left on the clock.

BIL received and they sent many players up the field to threaten to score. Their Ogre crumpled in a heap ending their turn early. Resolute shoved the Human Catcher out of bounds and Amaranth picked up the ball. A Human player wrestled Amaranth down causing a fumble. Greg Laidlaw scooped up the ball and had a receiver wide open. He threw the accurate pass but his normally agile teammate dropped the ball as time expired in regulation. SV escape with a victory!
