In the first half coach Mozza1 surprised coach Hayati with an immediate solo surge down the right flank. Although the lone rusher was brought down and the football recovered, APEOL Nicosia made the most of their Extra Arms in the ensuing deep-field melee to secure the opening score. Magical work!
Following this the Succubi ploughed down the right flank with a well-paced drive to even the score by half time.
In the second the Succubi were primed to score and chose to stall- this proved costly as a few key players were injured. Following the eventual score, they were 2-1 up but with 9 players against 11 and time to spare. Things looked promising for APEOL Nicosia.
However, The Dark One once again intervened to disrupt the drive, preventing any further scoring and claiming the match for the Succubi.
