“Kickoff results weren't a player, nor failed blocks. The reason for such a lopsided score was simply ball control. My skaven team could pick the ball up and pass it; his elves had trouble doing so. Several quick injuries and game-long ko's early on also meant the elves were undermanned for virtually the entire game.

This was a good learning match, including one lesson for me--if I ever get my storm vermin into position to score, do so! Don't handoff to a bloody gutter runner, who'll score any game he desires. Had I kept the ball in the hands of my vermin, he'd've gotten two skill rolls in a single game. Instead, he'll be down 3 sp's next game. Maybe he'll get a td next game, probably not.
