I was not expecting the game to play out as it did - first the blizzard which always messes with my plans but the final score being what it was. Squamosa really earned his keep out there with 3 TDs and 46 rushing yards and an integral block on the ball carrier to get the 3rd TD.

My blocks were hitting although regen kept his guys from staying down. I've also never seen so many failed 3d6 blocks in a game, I really had the hot dice at every opportune moment.

Key moments - Squamosa blocking then dodging like a boss for his first TD.
Blitz! on kickoff after 2nd score goes all the way to the endzone and creates a headache of getting the ball down the field. Squamosa 2d6 blocks the ball carrier to pop the ball loose, pick it up and then endure a 1d6 block that was a skull. Graveolens getting his dumb self killed and the Apothecary is drunk but the good kind - 1,1 is the injury reroll. Narrowly avoided the Legendary Highlander curse.

When people talk about winning being everything I really don't know if they can appreciate that a win in the face of adversity being the penultimate satisfaction.

This team has seen its share of Goblins come and go but I am super excited that some players have gotten to enjoy the full experience of a Blood Bowl career. ”
