“Lucked out a tie in a game I should have lost.

1st half was pretty bad, as in 17 blocks I had 2 double skulls (one was on turn 7/8 where it didn't really matter) and very little else went quite right...except Da'Crusher fouling Otto III on turn 2 and KO'ing him for the rest of the game (his MB/PO vamp). Go into halftime down 0-1.

2nd half a Pitch invasion getting 4 of my dwarves and only one vamp hampers my start of the drive. I couldn't complete a pass back to mid-field, but the ball got there anyway. Still, they got a hold of the ball and looked to be breaking for a TD. But some fortunate POWS knocked the ball loose in my turn 6..and I got the ball into a runners hands. However, this was deep in my end of the pitch, and it looked like I could not score..Except that Dgal was one square over the LOS and with 5 move and gfi's he could possibly make it. so I tried. 2gfi's by the runner to mark a thrall. Hand off to Dgal. Blitz the thrall down and 2gfi's put Dgal within 6 of the EZ. Got marked by a thrall, then the wrestle vamp blitzes..but fails the gfi to make the hit. Runner knocks Thrall out of the way and one GFI later the game is tied. The vamps try the push 3x OTS, but a blizzrd hampers it--and the agility 5 vamp fumbles the ball anyway.

Dgal rightfully gets the MVP and Mighty Blow.
