The Bringers were without recently sacked Bull Centaur Lzarkon and the Claws were without their injured Rat Ogre so potentially it looked like an even match.

And an even match it was. Despite injuring a couple the Claws early and knocking another 2 out, the Bringers found their opponent's bench to be much too deep and the Claws continued to field a minimum of 10 players all match.

The Bringers scored in the opening period, then were unable to stop the fast Gutter Runner Runskit from scoring in both the opening period and the begining of the second period. The Claw then played brilliant defence to almost steal the ball and score a third TD to win the game. However, the Bringers recovered the ball and just managed to score the final TD of the match to escape with a draw. ”
