“I do believe we just played a proper team of champions. You can tell, with time on the clock there was only two to field, even with the bloodweiser babes! We got one of our own just into the match, and things were looking up, but eleven casualties against us is an outstanding effort, even considering their viscious claws and tendancy to pile on the little green ones.

We were properly, I believe, tentative at muscling up to them, but blitz after blitz simply sent our boys off the field, more often than not in a long-term way! They ground us down and we had no choice but to run Bully with the ball off to the far wing, but they already had too numbers on us and the wall of green simply couldn't cover his run at all, better fenced in against the crowd than most teams manage.

So with Bully standing alone, just two green things at his side, they monstered the ball off us and ... well, couldn't score, two green things in their way, making it difficult, and time up. Great luck in the second, 8 on field, got the blitz and Bully had a chance at a clean catch, but no, it wasn't to be. They called the ball dead and handed a new one to a runner of theirs on the far side of the field, what luck, easy score, and more of ours off. Disarray.

7 left, just a little into the 2nd, a rock half takes out our front line and we were lucky to get the ball to a big lad at all, Thug hanging onto it. But more claws and piling on and fouls too, and while Muscle tried in the thick of it, there was no stopping their second, big lads and little greens off the field at an alarming rate. With just two left, the referee offered us a chance to pull out, and we took it, Muscle and Ribbit not fancying their chances alone.
