“Everything comes together so that a tie is obtained.
1st half, a misclick on my part was a big contribution to my failing to score...not only did I not knock the player down, it frustrated me and the rest of the half (and probably some of the 2nd), my coaching was sub-par even for me. The Humans only didn't score because their Agility 4 player couldn't dodge.
2nd half, I at least recovered from the mis-click at some point, but not before letting them run off a few turns before scoring. However, the ref was not paying close attention and set the clock back one turn after the riot, so I had 1 extra turn to try and tie it up. I almost messed this one up as well, as I moved a blitzer wrong, and had to gfi to get hem where I wanted him..failed..stunned. Still, my Thrower with the ball (chucker), was able to survive the blitz, then dodge away and throw a 4+ pass to my diving Catch/catch goblin..who runs down field and survives the 2db. This pushes him to 7 squares away and leaves him in a TZ. I'm able to push the marking player away (and down, but that wasn't the important part), then gfi for the tying TD on turn 8...whew
no new skills or players. ”
