Anyway, this match did not go as expected for me. I have a ton of respect for PC and have watched him play some amazing games. In this one, his luck was awful. Both of us saw several players leave the pitch on the first drive. In the back of my mind I moaned at how the AV7 elves were out bashing the zombies. Then I was forced into a desperate move to stop the score. The AG4 ghoul mad a 4+, 3+, and then a 2+ dodge to get a one die block on the ball carrier by the endzone and KOed the ball carrier.

In the following turn, the elf blitz could only produce both down results and the ball was unreachable. To end the half, several elves surfed, and the Necros controlled the ball.

In the second half 6 players stayed on the bench. Then in turn 2, the ball stripping wardancer was fouled off the pitch. It was the final straw and PC conceded.

Not the outcome I expected. But surely there will be other rematches.”
