“The U-dogs are trying something new today – a ball and chain wielding rat has joined the team, probably not going to help with their ball handling skills but should add some to the chaos they can create, lets see the vamps sink their teeth into that.

Match Highlights:

Match start and the U-dogs are caught napping as the bloodsuckers blitz through on the wing after opening up a hole in the defensive line by mesmerising U-dog players. The U-dog coach is surprised by this move; he didn’t think his players had enough brains to be hypnotized at all - 1-0 to the Nightmares. The U-dogs respond with their own attack down the wing but they once again do not take account on the counts’ hypnotic power which allows a defensive blitz to push Laz’pler and the ball into touch. The throw in goes directly to Gerald PFR, hitting him squarely between the eyes and confusing his so much that he is unable to play any further role in the drive. Fortunately for the U-dogs Fr’bloo is able to reach the loose ball and launce a cross field pass to goblin receiver See-em who runs in for a TD. The half ends with the Nightmares once again breaching the U-dog line, this time using a more direct route to incapacitate the opposition players – firm KO blows to the head – half time scores are 2-1 to the Nightmares.

Start of the second half and Fezglitch takes to the field for the first time in the match. The nightmares give him a wide berth, clearly unsettled by the sight of a giant censer of plague stuff he is spinning around his head. The vamps and their thralls form a tight group on one side of the field, into which Fezglitch spirals gleefully but only causes minor injuries before he is choked into unconsciousness by Superstar Vamp ‘Mephistophilius’ using the chain from Fezglitch’s own weapon.

The U-dog defence looks like it is going to hold until Gerald suffers a ‘senior moment’ and allows the Carpathian team to switch sides of field from where the lightning fast Legendary player ‘Baphometh’ is able to run in TD number 3 for the vampire team.

The combined effects of Gerald’s claws and the Vamps need for regular liquid refreshment has reduced the Nightmares to 7 players for the final drive of the game and the U-dogs are able to dash around the end of their line heading for a quick cancelation TD. The vamps break the U-dog cage, once again utilising their mesmeric powers and the ball goes loos on the touchline with Mephistophilius standing over it. Up steps two headed freak of nature Odeen-natses who deftly dashes down the touchline, dodging repeatedly and snatching the ball from under the Mephistophilius’ pointed nose and diving in for a TD in the corner - final score 3-2 to the Carpathian Nightmares.

This loss marks the U-dog’s 10th consecutive defeat! Its starting to get embarrassing.
