The stadium swingers started on offense and moved to one of the wings. My treeman managed to keep 3 gorillas and the silverback busy for three full turns! This was enough for star player Van Nistelrooij to leap in the cage and surf the ball carrier. Lineman René van de Kerkhof succesfully picked up the ball in my back field. But then the tide started turning. Van Nistelrooij got surfed himself, and turnover due to a failed dodge (diving tackle) allowed the stadium swingers to pop the ball free. Luckily enough Nuffle intervened with a double skull block from a gorilla against Boudewijn Zenden, which allowed Zenden to pick up the ball and throw it to Jan Heintze who could score a TD. 1-0!

A Pitch Invasion at kick-off gave stadium swingers more turns to score back. Both sides didn't have any rerolls left. A failed block from treeman Frits Ent led to a turnover and allowed the stadium swingers to score the equalizer in turn 8 after a few blocks, a hand over and two go for its.

Second half just as exciting as first half. After a succesful offense over the left wing, Kezman scored a mid-half touchdown. In the subsequent defense drive the stadium swingers attacked over their left wing, and Van Nistelrooij got surfed again! Boy, does that player invest time in his fans in the crowd! Luckily enough the Stadium Swingers weren't able to score back this time and the game ended 2-1 in my favour.

Real man of the match was the treeman Frits Ent. He did not take root for the full match, and occupied may gorillas during the match. Additional highlight was no injuries or deaths during the match despite many MB blocks and crowd surfs, so my team value increased to 1900...”
