[Spock] Greetings, the game went very well over. an important first turn really carried us through.
[Announcer] and what a first turn it was, why don't you tell the audience that missed the game what happened.
[Spock] it started out pretty grim. I know I gave the Halfing Master Chef the correct time to get to the game, but he didn't show up until almost half time, so the Ape's weren't distracted at all. but we managed to KO Lalo on the opening turn with a boot to the head. Sadly Amos Mangee was spotted while fouling and was thrown out of the match. This would not have been such a big deal except poor Lalo didn't make it back into the match until the very end of the 2nd half.
[Announcer] Keeping a Silverback out the game certainly makes a Simyin team a bit easier to deal with. How did the rest of the game go?
[Spock] we managed a lot of KOs out there, and Ugorth got in several good hits with his chainsaw before being knocked down and Badly hurt. We were forced to score a little earlier in the first half than we wanted, but we managed to keep the Apes from responding in the first half. Chris House also managed one of 2 CAS for the game, taking out Joao on turn 7.
[Announcer] that's right folks the first half ended 1-0 in favor of the Rookie team, not how developed team likes to see the first half go.
[Spock] indeed not, and the 2nd half wasn't much better. only one of the KOs came back so they started the drive down 1 player on the pitch, so both teams were down to 10. Also my Master Chef had arrived and stole 2 of the 3 RRs from the Apes. A riot saw the first turn vanish un-played. The Apes then scored on their turn 4 with hopes of stealing the ball from us to win.
[Announcer] And as we've all seen the score board we know how that ends for them. What happened to cause that?
[Spock] Sadly it was a case of running out of RRs, the Apes used their only RR on turn 5 to get an ape in position with a GFI and the next turn failed a 1 die block. The failure was so bad that poor Jamison nearly broke his collar bone, Fortunately the Apothecary was able to keep the damage from being permanent.
[Announcer] Thank you Coach Spock. Good luck in the rest of your Season. And in other news......
