“The Chaquan Champions were a bit flat here today. Unsure against the unusual looking Vamps they couldn't find their power against their evil eyes.
We started with the ball but despite one thrall being bitten it didn't look good when Count Sirius ko'd a skink and a Saurus, and with the aid of hypnosis he sauntered through to ko ball carrier Santo near their endzone too. We were all over the place and the Vamps left us held up in the wake of their attack, taking the full half to score. Ultimatos had to be saved from death after a heavy hit!
2nd half we kicked a touchback. We tried to be aggressive but first saw the hired wizard doing a pathetic failed attempt at a lightning bolt and then the super agile ball carrier comfortably avoided our attempts to tackle him down.
We did have a bit more time to try and score but again hypnosis and effective Vamps saw Loco brought down and we couldn't quite make it.
The Saurii just weren't hitting hard enough today and the Vamps laughed at our attempts. But still a fun match.”
