The Sentinels debut in the SWL Premier League started in style with Tanyl dispatching the legend Erigor Chabot in a 2nd turn blitz, clearing the way for Iolas to receive the long Kantil pass and run in an early touchdown.

The good play continued in the following defensive drive, with Iolas turning the ball over and Kantil collecting the loose ball to send it down field to a waiting Haemir. The Sentinels were a simple dodge away from a 2-0 half time lead. That dodge proved to be too much of a task for the rookie Haemir, and the Mayhem returned the ball the length of the field to level the score at 1-1.

The determined defensive efforts in the 2nd half failed to spill the ball, as the Orcs managed to send most of the Sentinels back to the dugout. In the end, only Kantil and Tanyl stood between the wall of green and the endzone. Befitting the title of Sentinel, Kantil decided to stand up and fight the green brutes instead of running for safety. Gobslag Glenmorangie made short work of the brave elf, and the game ended in a loss for the Sentinels in more ways than one.

Best and Fairest voting

3 Votes	#14 Iolas	Scored the only touchdown for the Sentinels and was a constant threat to the opponent's ball carrier.
