“NWFL NFC East v NFC North Week 6 (game 13 of season)

2 of the Raider's 4 wins are now vs. Helstinki, and overall we are 2-1-0 vs them (played them once in the preseason)--and we have been brutal to them..14BH/2SI/1Death vs 1/2/0 to me...

1st half the Horehounds wasted no time in scoring the 1st TD. Only one of their players were hurt (BH on Sven, a ulf with block). Then things began to go bad, as in route to the Raider's 1st score, 4 more Horehounds were hurt. Though the Raiders did suffer not only a Double Skull late that put our BC in danger, but a Triple Skull early on in the drive. Still, we managed to pull out the TD with a Break Tackle blitz, (with GFI and another to get out of the way) and a Break Tackle sprint for the EZ.

2nd half was a bit better for both, as only one more player from Helstinki was hurt (though a couple were KO'd). The kickoff landed in the hands of Curly, our Minotaur..who managed to keep it and score eventually. Still left some time for the few Norse players to score, but it was not to be. Curly even had delusions of scoring again when he scooped up the ball, but another double skull squashed that hope quickly.

Childress picks up guard (yeah, it's boring, buta ll my CDBlockers now have guard), while Bethea picks up Stand Firm.

Sent Burroughs to the doctor to get his neck worked on, and he'll now be available for the next match...only cost me 40k :)
