“A close match on paper given similar team strength, but the Hellbringers dominated early, breaking through the Bombadiers armour and knocking out player after player - 5 in total for the first defensive drive.
The outnumbered Bombadiers could do little but watch as they lost the ball deep in offence, and Hobbo Laglop scooped it up, and throw a short pass to Bull Centaur Tzorak on the line of scrimmage. Tzorak ran in the TD to open the Bringers account.
There must have been a party in the Bombardiers KO box as none of the 5 players came out for the next drive! That or the attending nurse must have been a hottie!
Not surprisingly, the Bombardiers were unable to score in the remaining portion of the first period. Tragedy struck for the Bombardiers as lineman Anders Ruthson was killed by Chaos Dwarf Bzarkren and the magic sponge did not have any affect on his shattered body.
