“Jakob Küchenmeister's journal, #9 entry:

Today a yet unknown race to us, the dark elfs visited. We heard about them before and their vile magic, so we thought we are going to play a team of warlocks. Turned out it was their ballplaying skills and their armour that is magic.
The game was played in great weather, slight breeze, warm sunshine.
The elfs started the game and scored quickly, with us not having a chance to stop them. As usual our helpers fell steadily under the opposing blows. 0-1
Our offense was the usual, our masters paving the way to the opposing endzone, guarding our ballcarrier. Sadly against the agility of the elfs this failed and a blitzer dodged into our cage to knock down the ballcarrier. In the following brawl we tried to defend the ball by surrounding the ballbearer, but again the elf agility prevailed. Our last chance came when four of our little helpers swarmed the ball holding rookie linelf, but sadly we could not knock it down. After that the elfs did their magic dodging, handing off, sprinting and throwing a long bomb into the endzone. 0-2
Our attempt to lob a little snotling into the endzone was foiled by clumsy ballhandling.
Second half we received and a deep high kick made offense a struggle from the beginning. The elfs changed their defensive tactic, swarming our docile ogres and pressuring a ball. Being surrounded master Gorefeast decided that the only way we can score is letting Crumbstealer fly. And fly he did, almost making it into the endzone. With no elf to reach him my masters tried to get some elf flesh for a feast, but after that didn't work Crumbstealer walked in for the touchdown. 1-2
Again the elfs came on offense and again they choose our right side. This time one of our masters pressured their runner and we had them covered. As a result their blitzer could not catch the handoff. Once again a scrum started, with one ogre catching the ball. He could not hold onto it, having it strpiied from his hands. The egg was picked up by their game winning blitzer (two scores, three casualties) and walked in. End result: 1-3.
Once again no new recipe and Skinscratcher didn't have enough meat on him to call him even a snack.”
