We hired some brute and strong stars again but this time they proved to be a total waste of money. When we were down by 4 to 5 players, I decided to let the wizard throw a powerful fireblade over a gang of the Chaos which grouped on the field. It hurt a CPOMB player but that was it.
To our surprise Mossbeard decided to take this game into OT when he had the chance to score quick in the second half. We won the coin toss and it was 6 vs 9 to 10 players of them with their four CWs and the Mino still in the game.
Since we wouldn't be able to do any running or bashing game, we went all in and tried to score within two turns by building up a lousy two man cage on the sidelines.
Mossbeard however put two players on defense only and rushed with the remaining ones into my half, probably he thought we wouldn't dare to throw a long pass and risk to get loose of the ball so early.
He was wrong and so we started with a 2db (2+ needed only) to free our receiving quarterback, twice GFI, then Pass at 4+, catch at 2+ and dodge three times and finally went for it two times.
The chances of success weren't that desastrous with 32% by the use of a team re-roll.
Nuffle gave us a hard time for the regular game time but seemed to be enchanted with our never surrendering attitude. ”

I knew i would lose this one, happens every single time i play vs. a rookie team in a tournament. As soon as i draw some rookie team i know i will be getting my ass kicked, once again i had almost fooled myself into thinking i had it in this one.
We had good blocks and got some casualties early in the game, but you cannot win when you lose both coin tosses and your opponent can come up with that unstoppable sequence of dice when they need it.

Would have been no point in scoring earlier and giving you a chance to win 2-1, was hoping i would win the 2nd coin toss.
