#9 Snotface – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
#15 The Green Man – Fractured Arm (MNG)
The Wrestlers faced up to some Vamps today. Les Kellet hurled LLL forward and he was about to land just past the line of defenders. However unlike in a recent match Lucan could not stay up and went divebombing into the turf! A thrall caught the ball and we were in disarray, particularly as our other agile snot was missing the match. Somehow Lucan got the MVP for his remarkable dive.
With their confounding gazes the Vamps gave us the runaround although Jim Breaks broke a thrall.
After their first TD the Green Man took the ball but was zapped by the Wiz. We regained the ball with Bulldog taking it, but not for long. The Bulldog fell when trying to dodge out to blitz their carrier while Richard the Vamp then deftly avoided a diving tackle snot, and we were 2-0 down a half-time. Les had though fractured the skull of Carl the Vamp as the Wrestlers were dealing out hurt.
Next half despite a missed pass we conceded a 3rd TD. Next drive Big Daddy had the ball but more gaze action led to him being smashed down. Thralls were filling up the ko box but it took Bulldog to save us from the embarrassment of a 4th TD. Jim and Bulldog both caused 2 casualties today. John Pukovich had to even regenerate fatal damage from Bulldog.
Fun game but tough. We hit well but were outclassed.

Go Ogres!

#2 Richard Chance – Fractured Leg (MNG)
#5 Cash – Broken Neck (-AG)
#10 Moolah II – Dead (RIP)
#15 Carl Cody – Fractured Skull (-AV)
As always, when Masters takes to the field, crime and deeds of malice are not far from the mind (mostly snotling hunting). Chased by Cody and Vukovich the plan was for him to spear-head the assault on the snots, with Chance in regular pursuit of the ball.

But the game opened with a twist, as Lord Lucan disappeared mid-air, leaving the vamps on the ball and in control. A change of plan was enacted and a relatively quick score was made with an eye to making it 2-0 as soon as possible and hopefully keeping the cas count low.

As it was the Bulldog was having none of that. Roaming the pitch with an air of arrogance not seen since his days in the ring, the bully battered in with some hefty hits, aided and abetted by Kellet.

Chance and Masters continue their dance of wills, and contribute to a winning scoreline that could have been greater, while paying a weighty price in blood.

Chance, clearly terrified by the sight of the ma6 Bulldog, has decided that now would be a good time to get fitter (+MA)!!
