Game played in the Rain..just what you want vs Nurgle! Was able to take advantage of some mistakes on St. Paul's side to pull out a nail biter of a win.
1st half started kinda poorly. Curly gets -av on a foul on turn 1..was on the brink of firing him anyway, so this was his last game. Still, after some back and forth, Campbell was able to get the ball and sweep around the LOS for the score on turn 8. The Dwarven line held nicely on this drive.
2nd half I missed an opportunity to take end a turn early by taking POW/SKULL instead of using wrestle..oops. Still, when the Apostles decided to do one block too many (getting a skull), leaving open their BC when he could have scored. Still the next turn was close, but the BC tripped over the EZ, and all I had to do from there was protect the ball.
All 3 casualties were caused by fouls. 2 of the 6 fouls were caught (and both that were caught also caused a casualty)
