We ganged up on them in the first half to get the ball and score with time running out. Everyone played well and we took out a lot of their minions. Then the wheels came off in the second half. Grodd kept getting confused, though he was impossible to hypnotize. Cisco dropped a sure TD that would have sealed the game, then had a chance to recover the ball and double skulled (1d block with a reroll). Still, I am the fastest rat alive and there was plenty of time left so I knew we could win. Then the fans rioted and cost us a turn. No problem, Grodd can just clear the way and we'll form a cage around Cisco. Except Grodd just stood there roaring and beating his chest. Had to go to plan B; Dr. Wells got Ronnie the ball and the rest of us formed a line between him and the blood suckers. Except there was no cover on the flanks thanks to Grodd not taking out his man. Vamps knocked the ball out, hypnotized 2 out of 3 on the line, and grabbed it. Luckily for us, one of their leaders stumbled trying to get away and KO'd himself. I shouted to Cisco to go deep and for Ronnie to get the ball. Cisco redeemed himself on Ronnie's beautiful pass to clinch the victory and earned the MVP. Great job, bro.

Today we saved our city and kept my friends safe. Which is good, because we're the only ones fast enough to keep doing it.
