In the first half, the dwarves scored quite early, and gave the Orcs four turns to try for an equalizer. But the orcs hit into a wall of dwarves, and simply couldn't break them down.

In the second half, the dwarves tried to stop them again, but this time a nimble orc squeezed through, but by now the orcs had taken heavy casualties in the shape of a dead thrower, a seriously injured lineman, and a badly hurt blitzer (I think).

With just 3 turns left to score the dwarves set to work, and a nice passing play led to a score, and so the game was done.

Quite a rude opponent, who left the second the game was finished, but a good result. Slowly but surely, the Runtz are improving.”
