A 2nd difficult match... Given the 3 deads on during the 1st, a clear lack of players to replace the secret weapons (and gobs out, of course).

The game was finally very tighed, I could egalize but choose to temporise in order to avoid a 2nd TD (I had less players).

Finally, Nuffle stays Nuffle and doesn't reward the efforts of my poor little green creatures.

One day, we'll win!
(Oh, and I earn 10k, just what I needed to buy a new gob, hahaha!).

#3 Ian Wight – Fractured Arm (MNG)
Considering I was playing against a depleted band of Gobbos, my opponent really dug in and gave me a hard time, as the scoreline might indicate: this was a tense and exciting game.

Mostly one-way traffic and good rolls for the Marginals in the first half, but the Gobbos made the most of a string of excellent dodge rolls to put themselves in a scoring position early on in the second period - but their attempt to stall for a draw went wrong and Wilbur Wight was able to hoik the ball far down the field and remove their chances of equalising (he then went on to get an SPP for passing the ball to himself, which I didn't know you could do). Respect due to my opponent for staying (fairly) cheerful and sticking with the match even when everything was going against him.

(Hang on, does this mean I've actually won a league match...?)
