#4 Menwad IV – Damaged Back (NI)
Two teams lined up, both hungry for their first victory - well, the Orcs were hungry, the Khemri looked as vacant and hopeless as usual. Receiving the ball as the clouds opened, the two Khemri Throw-Ras went into their well-honed and hilarious slapstick routine, their comic depiction of two idiots who couldn't pick up the ball skilfully hiding the fact they were two idiots who couldn't pick up the ball. Eventually the Orcs tired of this, gently relieved them of the ball and walked it into the end zone.

The skies cleared as the Orcs received in the second half. Things degenerated into a centre-pitch scrum with the greater bashiness of the Orcs giving them a bit of an edge over the fragile undead. By some miracle the ball went loose giving the Khemri a cruel hope of equalising. Heroic dodging and one-dice blitzing from an Orc lineman crushed that hope like a dung-beetle under the foot of Pharaoh's bottom-wiper.

Still, losing 0-1 is better than my average result, and managed to replace one of my more rickety mummies, so mustn't grumble.

The Orcs knew they where a pretty decent bashing team. But when the blockers walked into the pitch they saw their worst nightmare : Khermis. Heroic times where ahead of them.

After some shared punches, the Orc team realized that the ball wasn't around, so they decided to look for it. The blocker twins closed softly their eyes and saw two undeads doing I don't know with the ball but definitely not like catching the ball. So they came at them and shown them how to do it.

After that, the ball was on the Orcs half. It was really simple, just focus on caching and for Christ sake why going in the MIDDLE of the pitch with all the big dead guy ? The Orcs had a bad time and had to retreat. Unfortunately the Undead don't want to let go and when the ball carrier thought he was safe, he was surrender by a bunch of bones. In just one turn, the Undead team looked very much alive as they where ready to score by taking the ball back !

Thankfully, as the only agile guy in the team, when your pals are in danger, you have to take care of the desperate situation yourself. The Lineman Caillasse impressed the audience by jumping out, running, and putting all the strength he had left to keep the ball not far from his legs.

The curse is over, but Hopefully a half is just 8 turns. And Lineman AG4 is epic.
