#2 Arlen Moonbrow – Groin Strain (MNG)
#3 Melvor – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
Very tough game against a top coach with a solid team. Had an opportunity first half for a 2d on his ballcarrier, but decided to go for a 1d with possibly better chances to snatch the ball if it spilt (which it didn't). May have been a mistake, but hindsight's a wonderful thing :) Had a go at the OTS at the end of the first, but didn't quite pull it off. Snow was a bit of nuisance for the whole game, cutting down on gfi attempts and possible long passing.

Second half I went for a kind of stand-off defence to burn some turns, but in hindsight maybe it wasn't the best idea, given that I HAD to equalize. Was surprised how quickly he managed to get his team across to defend my push on the side (especially given the snow). After that, had trouble finding a hole to get players behind his line. He defended very solidly, preventing me from getting players into scoring positions. In the end, I just couldn't break through for the score.

Anyway, was a fun game and it certainly could have been worse in terms of injuries. Good luck to Brainsaw in the rest of the tournament! :)

#13 Maurice Paul – Fractured Leg (MNG)
A very nice and kind match report!
I just have to add, that the most elves, who left the pitch did that by dodging away from the SCARY chaos .-))))
