My name is Barry Allen, and today I was the clumsiest rat alive. I failed 2+ dodges and dropped 2+ catches even with rerolls. Dr. Wells was very disappointed in me and Gorilla Grodd was so angry he exploded in a fit of rage. Ok, maybe he was assisted by one of those short, bearded bikers that have been terrorizing Central City of late. But somehow I still feel it was my fault. We called in a lot of help on this one, and all of it was for naught. Sure, the extra medics did work but they were gone when we needed them most. Dr. Wells says we might have to run without a Rat Ogre for a while, and I can see why. Grodd was special, and who knows when we'll get another one like him. Meanwhile, the bearded bikers will continue to ride roughshod all over Central City. I can only hope they get bored soon and move on to somewhere else. Hopefully not my friend Oliver's city, though. I bet my friend Bruce could handle them in his town.

Time to regroup and rebuild. We're used to it by now. Central City needs us, and there's no one else who can do it.

Epilogue: Central City erected a monument in Grodd's memory. He did manage to kill a bearded bear biker, though we've since learned a backalley surgeon was able to patch the criminal up.”
