“This was one for the record books. The goblins started off by equaling the disasters in fame and then luckily rolling a blitz, and that was where their luck ran out.

On the blitz, they KOd one of their own players, while their secret weapons ran away from the line. The teams then traded KOs on their expensive pieces (troll vs clawpomber). After that, the KOs started stacking up for the goblins, even on their own turn, when a Fanatic hit their own player. The pogoer 1db skulls, badly hurting himself, which the apoth will save him from (and will later regret). The OTT attempt lands the ball right by the endzone without a kicker, so their hopes are squashed, and they are further compounded by a troll KOing himself to miss second half.

Second half the fanatic is lined up to hit one of 3 big guys, but the crowd is having none of it and throws a rock to take him out of the match. The ball lands right next to the remaining 3 to make it near impossible to gather up. The ball sits in a scrum while the disasters play removal for a couple turns, perming the pogoer into retirement, before running in with the ball.

A short kick and perfect defense again leave the goblins scrambling to mount any sort of offense, when they can't even pick up the ball to start. The goblins give up at this point and try just to take out key players, but even that doesn't work, and the disasters score to finish it 3-0.

The stats look much more even than what the game felt like.
