“Diane, it's 8:35 PM on Friday, Aug 4th, and I've finally returned to Twin Peaks. It's been over 2 years (4 months and 25 days to be precise) and things have changed here. A lot. I barely recognize the old place, and I feel strange being here. All of us do. We took a trip to the nearby pond to try and find some balance, but the local wildlife was feeling a bit froggy. With a bit of luck and some Bureau procedure we were able to keep things mostly in check. One of the suspects managed to get away, but we rounded up 5 of his friends and I have no doubt we'll get his location out of them. Had to invoke Bureau privilege on the funds, but the new process for promotion is working out better than the old one. Bobby and Shelly both moved up, and James is really close.
