This was delivered, as Reggie Mathis was maimed at the end of 1st half.
The game was really really difficult. 1st half was very much contested. Pats were driving, but there was pressure, and Bortles was sacked. The 2nd half was a total domination of the Classics team. The deciding factor? The special teams unit! The Patriots 1turn unit scored in turn16, with an exchange of Goodwin and Smelter. The former proving his high draft status again and again.
Patriots are leading the division, and survived (for the first time after long long time) without any injury vs the Classics.
P.S. Drilling Smelter after last game produced dividents. (Reminder: He had miscues, including failed dodges, where his heart stopped, only apo saved him. Which used up apo power, so he was responsible for Jernigans death.) Smelter was tasked to do agility drills, and every time he fails, he had to tell 'thank you apo for saving my life'. Smelter is a proud cat, so he was motivated to avoid the humiliation. And it showed when he handled the last minute scoring drive.”
