“Vs. powerhouse, undefeated Martek Magicians, the Ecstasy, despite being a substantial TV overdog, knew this was going to be a tough match.

We chose to recieve and had a convincing drive to go up 1-0 on T8. But a timely riot gave the Magicians a chance at an equilizer before the half. Multiple gazes and dropping Sheikh Zufar appeared to stop that...but NO! Chainpush shenanigans (ala my win-turned-tie vs. the Sea Elves under very similar circumstances) allowed the Arabians to score the equalizer before the half and take a commanding position in the match.

But the Ecstasy put up a stiff defence and eventually popped the ball with a ridiculous number of dodges, gazes and a 1d blitz on Sheikh Zufar. But he wasn't stunned so when AG4 Lino Asad ran to the endzone it was a simple 2322 for the win. Amazingly Zufar failed the pickup! The Ecstasy managed to gaze Zufar, recover the ball, and pass it to Deva'statyll over multiple Magicians. She then blitzed off the marking Eunuch to run the ball deep into the Magicians side of the pitch.

At this point Martek gave up on the match and just looked to cause a little damage and protect Zufar. Game in hand. Knowing their ability to 1T score, the Agony coach elected to score on defensive T16 with a Keeper blitz.
