First half, after some positioning the Lizards (in offence) made the good old trick against slow Dwarves: lure them to one side then leave them in their tracks and switch to the other side. The few dwarves who could near the group of reptiles were easily handled next turn, so the ball went almost out of reach of any Dwarves. By that time all 3 LizRR were gone, but all succesful. Now, the only Dwarf who could put a TZ on the ballcarrier, used the first RR of the team for his GFI, just to roll another 1. But the real problem was that noone else moved before this failure. Thus Flytime could make a perfect stalling till turn8.

Second half KickOff: Blitz! But the kind which is rather a disaster for the Blitzer! A Skink ran towards the ball, but needed to RR a GFI. A Blitz resulted in a mere Push, and the Saurus also running to cover the ball rolled 1 for GFI, too, and stunned. In addition a Blodger, MB, Tackle Saurus marked a bunch of Dwarves, only 3 squares from the sideline - a Slayer being one of those Dwarves, the unfortunate reptile was quickly pushed into the crowd. And the ball was picked up by the Runner. From then on, the Lizards rolls were really annoying to them. They blitzed the Runner, took down (with RR), but the ball bounced just the worst way. Still had a Skink, who dodged thru many tackle zones, but the second GFI to cover the ball - 1, and BH. After the Runner recovering the ball again, the Skink who moved to set up a Blitz on him, just dodged 2+1, and -1 AG... Next turn a 3rd Skink left the field, BH, this time by a block and then a Saurus got MNGed. Having 6 Lizards on the field, now the Dwarves did a stalling till turn8. Well, there was a dodge6, dodge6 2xGFI blitz on the Runner by the Kroxigor, but his luck ended there, only Push came.

Overtime coin toss won by Dwarves and only 9 Lizards on the pitch. And the GFI and dodge 1er serie just couldnt stop. Any Skink trying to heroically blitz the not yet so well covered ball carrier Runner, was doomed to hit the astrogranite before they could actually throw the block. A KOed Skink and a BoneHeading Kroxigor made things even worse. The Dwarves could now easily get into safe position. Well, again a Saurus dodge6 into 2 TZs gave him a 1d block on the Runner, but just Push. A succesful block on this Saurus - and the way was free to the winning TD.

So, this match was the kind where (after a successful start) just nothing worked to my opponent, or when it worked, next turn it worked me better. (A strange experience, as it is usually the other way around.)
