#4 Radar Tech Winslow III – Fractured Skull (-AV)
#10 Hello My Baby II – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
Yeah was a rough one for the big dudes, and once again i'll be going into my next match short at least one Ogre player. DrClaes possesses their kryptonite when it comes to injury rolls apparently :D.

Looking back on it, I did have 2 turns to attempt the 2-1 score. Giving it to Barf III could have seen 2 instances of double GFIs on the endzone. That's a total of 4 GFIs without reroll, and if FUMBBL has taught me anything it's that GFIs are to be feared.

And as an Ogre coach that fear supercedes attempting the crazy TTM on Turn 7, where there's a chance I could even slim those GFIs to 1 or 0 if the throw is good enough xD. And I still had good ol' Helmet to attempt the GFI stagger had my ball retrieval gone at all according to plan.

You learn to gamble as an Ogre coach. It's half the fun after all! :D

Second game against Lord Helmet and his nefarious little green men.

Snotlings were hard to get off the pitch, even with two tacklers targeting them. Ogres broke more easily, and I fouled two of them into the casualty box during the game.

Most fouls went undeteced, and most were reasonable (3+ assists on downed ogres, usually worth it)... my plentiful Blodge made it hard for the ogres to knock any elves down, and hence hard for the little guys to step on their elven faces.

In the end, there were two shots at 2-1 for the ogre team, both of them involving silly amounts of dice rolling and no rerolls to be seen... the sequence of Bonehead-Block-Pickup-Handoff-Bonehead-TTM-land (in the right place)-possibly GFI proved insurmountable and both coaches were satisfied with the draw. Samba Action Calculator puts the chance of success with no reroll around 5%; surprisingly (?), with a reroll it's closer to 20%, so still unlikely but in the realm of possibility.

Game played in good cheer, the Spaceballs theme puts a big smile on my face and brings back fond memories from Junior High, when it was among my favorite movies on VHS.

Today, my Schwartz was as big as yours... we'll see what happens next time!
