“The tournament kicks off with luck that only Murphy could appreciate. Chimp, the thrower from the Furry Animals, lives up to his name and can neither pick up the ball nor throw it. The Hellpits' Groovin Jerry doesn't realize that shoelaces are not meant to be tied together and repeatedly trips until his (untimely?) death. It is sadly a lesson he will never have to learn now. Flash Freddie struck first blood and scored on a pure dash around the end play, whilst the Furry Animal's Rat Ogre Bear spent more time roaring in rage than going after anyone. Bernie scored the second touchdown for the Hellpit Rejects, but Animal's luck gradually picked up over the second half. They scored three times and knocked as many of the Hellpit gang off the pitch as the Rejects sent off due to their own bumbling. Groovin' Jerry is now being served as an appetizer at the clan Moulder post game press conference. As the coach says 'We have tasted defeat... and it is a bit stringy. By sharing it (and Jerry) with the press will comment upon how bitter it truly is'.”
