“Fair draw against greenskins. Linguists managed to grab a fumbled pickup early on and scored on the orcs' first drive, then let the opposition wander down the pitch unthreatened and score.

Second half, elfballed for the score (MA8 nerves of steel blodging runner did good!) and put reasonable pressure on the ball carrier. Leaping, blodge-tackle witch did some wardancer style magic and got 2 out of 2 possible hits on the ball carrier to knock the ball loose... but unfortunately it didn't bounce just right, and in the end, the orcs managed a phenomenal gobbo play, knocking out just the right number of elves, then passing with the gobbo to a runner in a tackle zone, dodging out and drawing the game at the last possible second.

Well played and a nice, friendly game. Marwari the second will be missed (a little bit) but hey, they're just pixels, and I've got a couple cold ones in my tummy after a nice dinner, so it's all good! See you around!

Lost blocking game 50-16 (!), all that green muscle posed too great a threat to the puny elves... fouled 3-1 and yet didn't get a single elf sent off. Got a bribe along the way but didn't need to use it, which was something of a disappointment.

Still down to 10 players even after recruiting a new runner after the game, gotta keep rebuilding... and maybe not play any more greenskins in a while :).”
