“8th game against orcs for the Linguists, and after this one we are 1/2/5 ! The elves will celebrate this first victory against the greenskins for a long time!

Obviously some good luck was involved, especially in getting lots and lots of armor breaks in the first half on the orcs, knocking them out and making the positional game so much easier for the elves. Halfway through the first half there were 5 KO'd orcs (almost all of them expensive positionals), and the linguists eventually found an opening to get a shot at the ball carrier, then ran off with the ball and scored.

Second half, the elves managed a quick 2 or 3 turn score, running 4 elves into scoring range and waiting with a runner to hand it off to sure hands runner.

No damage to the elf team which was a relief after some tough games against bashy recently. Good money from the win which I will save to hopefully pick up a 4th blitzer after the next game! Just need 30k more... and that's assuming noone gets permanently damaged and has to retire (or the other, worse thing :).
