Well, I didn't expect such a bloody blockfest, but from the beginning I had to fight hard to keep my guys onm the pitch. So I tried for a passing game, it almost worked out, but I lost too many guys to win.

It was the day of the great ritual frogman slaughter, and the elves went all in. Still, the crowd got to see some excellent performances and sacrifices by the Slann, including a textbook one-turn score in the first half.

Elves won the blocking game 68-24 over 17 turns, averaging 4 blocks per turn to just over one on average for the slann, as well as fouling liberally against downed positionals. Along with having 4 mighty blow players on the pitch at the same time (since the mighty Morg joined the team and had an excellent showing, including a casulty), this meant that the frogs struggled against the numbers game throughout the game.

Elves came within a single frog of pitch clearing the Matschplanscher.

And still... some awesome cage breaking by the leapers. It's inspirational to see skilled frogs playing the game, as it breaks so many of the usual conventions. Good luck with the team, see you around!
